Banda formada en 1987 por Kevin Griffin, Cary Bonnecaze y Joel Rundell. Éste último se suicidó en 1990 y Bonnecaze marchó después de la salida del álbum "Deluxe", que tuvo un número 1 del bilboard en 1993 ("Good"). La formación actual es con el mismo Griffin, más Tom Drummond, Travis McNabb y James Payne que apoya durante los conciertos.
Se les encasilla en los estilos rockeros post-grunge o alterntivos.
