Biografía:
El trio formado por Ben Folds, Darren Jessee y Robert Sledge con excelente sentido del humor y una inteligencia poco vista en el pop fue capaz de producir albumes como Whatever and ever amen o Naked baby Photos. Sus canciones son sarcásticas y con algo de humor negro como en Song for the Dumped o increiblemente trabajadas y bellas como en Magic.
El último trabajo de la banda fue en 1999 con The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner. Suceso que dio pie a la fructífera carrera solista de Ben Folds, lider de la banda.
