Badfinger fue un grupo británico de rock frecuentemente considerado uno de los primeros del estilo llamado power pop. La banda fue exitosa comercialmente a principios de los años 70 y debido a su estilo similar al de The Beatles y a su contrato con el sello independiente de esa banda, Apple Records, fue considerada su posible sucesora. Sin embargo, una serie de problemas con sus sellos discográficos hicieron que sus integrantes no recibieran dinero pese al éxito de sus singles
