Alter Bridge es una banda Norteamericana de Hard Rock, Formada en el 2004 por ex-integrantes de Creed (Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, Brian Marshall) y el ex-vocalista de The Mayfield Four (Myles Kennedy).
Después de la separación de Creed en el 2004, Mark Tremonti (guitarrista) reunió a sus ex-compañeros de banda, Scott Phillips (baterista) y Brian Marshall (bajista). Sólo les faltaba un vocalista; para lo que Mark realizó la prueba de audición a varias personas.
