Biografía:
Allan Carl Newman (nacido el 14 de abril 1968) es un músico y compositor canadiense. Fue miembro de las bandas de indie rock Superconductor y Zumpano en la década de los 90. Después de la desintegración de esas bandas, resurgió como el líder de The New Pornographers en 2000.
En 2004, Newman comenzó su carrera como solista, actuando como A.C. Newman.
