Biografía:
Black Sabbath, junto con Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin y Uriah Heep, son la quintaesencia del Rock de los años setenta y son los creadores del heavy metal.
La banda se formó en 1968, compuesta por el cantante John Ozzy Osbourne, el guitarrista Frank Anthony Tony Iommi, el bajista Terence Geezer Butler y el baterista William Bill Ward.
Fueron los pioneros del Metal, haciendo de ello aquella clase de género, sombrío y pesado, además de llevar el tema de la brujería más allá de ciertos límites considerados hasta ese momento (1968).
