C OooOooOoo that sunrise
C Daylights burning my eyes
Dm I stayed up all night
FC Staring at the starry sky
C OooOooOoo sweet moonshine
C Just a little taste and I feel so fine
Dm It's dark outside and it's time for bed
FC But you lay awake all night instead
Am Well maybe just for an hour or two
C I'll get to spend some time with you
AmC We'll share a cup of coffee and the paper
Am These eyes are tired and yours are open wide
C It never seemed so sweet outside
DmFC In the mor---ning time
DmFC In the mor---ning time
Interlude: CDmFC
C My my my fair girl
C We come from two different worlds
Dm You live the day and I love the night
FC You've got big plans for country life
Dm My skins too pale for that sunshine
FC And the city's post makes me feel alive
C At night I dream of the country
C So sick of all the bustle in the city
Dm For now for now this is our home
FC We'll make the best before our roots have grown
Dm To make it world we need a change of scene
FC But I'll meet you there halfway between
AmC Halfway between
AmC Halfway between
AmC Halfway between
