Biografía:
The White Stripes es una banda estadounidense de garage rock. Se formó en 1997 en Detroit, Míchigan por la pareja compuesta por John Anthony Gillis, mejor conocido como Jack White, (en la guitarra, piano y voz principal) y Meg White (en la batería, percusión y voz). Hace poco participaron en colaboracion con una banda de Guadalajara Mexico: The Epitelios (www.myspace .com/theepitelios), en donde ofrecieron un concierto privado a 30 personas.Forman parte del resurgimiento del garage rock de los años '60
