The Japanese House es el nombre del proyecto de indie pop de la solista inglesa Amber Bain (Buckinghamshire, 13 de julio de 1995) . Ha lanzado cuatro EPs; Pools to Bathe In, Clean, Swim Against the Tide y Saw You in a Dream, a través del sello independiente Dirty Hit. Bain es la vocalista, toca la guitarra, el sintetizador y el teclado. Muchas de las canciones son producidas por Bain y George Daniel de la banda The 1975.
