Biografía:
XYZ es una banda de hard rock formada a finales de los 80's. Empezaron no oficialmente como la banda del club nocturno de Los Angeles, "the Whiskey".Los miembros originales fueron Terry Ilous (vocal), Bobby Pieper (guitarra), Patt Fontaine (bajo) and Joey Pafumi (bateria).
La banda tocó en clubs desde mediados de los 80's, hasta que consiguieron su primera audicion en 1989, con Don Dokken como su productor. El estilo para cantar de Terry Ilous tiene muchas influencias de Dokken.
