Tras la desintegración de The Beatles, Paul McCartney forma su nueva banda en 1970, "Wings", junto con Denny Lane y Linda McCartney, su esposa. Todos sus discos, fueron verdaderos éxitos en el Reino Unido, Europa y Estados Unidos.
