Duo pionero del acid jazz, formado en 1983 por Paul Weller (ex lider de The Jam) y Mick Talbot (procedente de Merton Parkas). En 1984 entró en la banda el bateria Steve White y posteriormente se incorporo a la banda la cantante Dee C. Lee, colaboradora de Wham! y por entonces esposa de Weller.
Su mayor exito es el album Our Favourite Shop de 1985, donde bajo una superficie de ritmos jazzy, pop al estilo Burt Bacharach y bossa nova se esconden dirísimas críticas a Margaret Thacher, a la sazón primera ministra británica.
