Las Pussycat Dolls son un grupo musical femenino de R&B, hip hop y dance formado en Los Angeles, California en 1995, actualmente integrado por Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts y Kimberly Wyatt.
En 1995, la coreógrafa, directora de videoclips y actriz estadounidense Robin Antin empezó a tantear la idea de crear un espectáculo de burlesque contemporáneo. El show encontró su hogar en la Viper Room de Los Ángeles, donde los espectáculos de baile gozaron de una popularidad creciente hasta 2002.
