Biografía:
Music Tapes é uma banda indie-pop do selo norte-americano Elephant 6; com suas músicas lo-fi e uma atmosfera quase insana o disco The First Imaginary Symphony for Nomad é uma das coisas mais legais já feitas na música.
O som é marcado pela orquestração invulgar formada pelo banjo e percussão, uma alusão ao "POP" de 1960.
A banda também inclui invenções musicais como o metrônomo, estática de televisão, a máquina "Clapping hands" e muitas outras criações.
