Biografía:
Banda fundada por la bellísima y carismática Martha Davis en Los Angeles en 1972. Logró su mayor éxito en 1982 con Only The lonely. Originalmente ubicados dentro de la New Wave, su estilo Pop con canciones oscuras logró sobrevivir a ese periodo. Finalmente, debido a permanentes cambios en su formación y a problemas de excesos, la banda se disolvió a finales de la década de los 80.
Hoy en día Martha Davis ha logrado superar sus problemas y ha reunido nuevamente a The Motels, reanudando conciertos y giras.
