Biografía:
Formado en Londres en 2003, The Heavy pertenenciente al afamado sello británico de Ninja Tune. Sin embargo, poco tiene que ver con la electronica a la que nos tiene acostumbrados Ninja Tune, ya que The Heavy mantiene los rasgos electronicos en segundo lugar, aportando un crudo y potente sonido soul muy cercano a la música negra de los años 70.
