In 2004, P.T. Walkley and Chris Daly of the New York City based band Track Rabbit (Daly also was a member of Jets To Brazil) got together with Long Island bassist Chris Cereda and rhythm guitarist Jack Dime to enjoy a more straight-up, stripped-down, rock-n-roll sound. What they found were The Blue Jackets. PT, who had been composing a score for Ed Burns' film The Groomsmen, was simultaneously fine tuning the very first song The Blue Jackets
