Grupo formado en Estados Unidos en 1975 y que debuta en 1977 con el album 77. Perteneciente en sus orígenes a la denominada New Wave, Talking Heads es uno de los grupos que mejor muestra la transición que va del rock a la música electrónica. Incorporan sonidos "art-funk", sintetizadores y bases electrónicas muy potentes, pero siguen ahí el guitarreo rockero, la espontaneidad de las letras y la voz tan underground del compositor y solista David Byrne.
