Biografía:
Pencey Prep fue una banda integrada por ex miembros de las bandas Sector 12 y Stick Figure Suicide.
La banda se formó el año 2000 en Nueva Jersey y su música era una mezcla entre diferentes géneros, cómo por ejemplo el post-hardcore, el emo o el indie rock. El grupo estaba compuesto por 2 guitarras, teclado, bajo, batería y un vocalista; y han sido comparados con la banda The Anniversary.
En el 2001 lanzaron su disco titulado 'Heartbreak In Stereo' bajo el sello Eyeball Records, después de esto, se separaron.
