Spoon es una banda de rock alternativo de Austin, Texas formada en el año 1994. Melodías tarareables y mágicas, inspiradas en la tradición folk-rock-pop norteamericana, sobre estructuras instrumentales alejadas de lo típico. Canciones compuestas y producidas de manera limpia, arriesgada y creativa. Todo el que haya escuchado con cierta minuciosidad el catálogo editado en los noventa por sellos como Matador, Big Cat, Merge o Spin Art sabrá de lo que se está hablando.
