Biografía:
Slowdive es una banda shoegaze que se formó en 1989, separándose hacia 1995. Se formó en Reading, Berkshire (UK) y pronto firmó contrato con Creation Records. El origen del nombre no proviene de la canción de "Siouxsie and the Banshees" como se podría pensar, sino de un sueño del bajista, Nick Chaplin.
Sus integrantes son Neil Halstead (guitarra y voz), Rachel Goswell (guitarra y voz), Nick Chaplin (bajo), Christian Savill (guitarra)
