Sera Cahoone es conocida por haber pasado por bandas como Carissa’s Wierd y Band of Horses.
Ahora es solitario es cuando despunta, convertida en una de las más notables últimas incorporaciones a la nómina de voces femeninas del alt-countr. Más rock en ocasiones –The Colder The Air–, en otras más folk o hasta pop –Baker Lake, con una de las varias apariciones de Jason Kardong, habitual del grupo hermano Grand Archives, al pedal steel– y sin pirotecnias, pero emocionando de veras.
