Alexandria "Sandi" Thom es una cantante y cantautora nacida el 11 de Agosto de 1981en Banff, Aberdeenshire (Escocia).
Antes de que sus padres se divorciaran, cuando ella tenía ocho años, vivió en muchas áreas diferentes debido al trabajo de su padre como piloto. Entre las edades de 15 y 17 años, vivía en una casa grande en Angus, y asistió a la universidad Robert Gordon en Aberdeen. Fue durante ese tiempo cuando su interés por la música creció.
