Rosie Thomas es una cantautora americana, original de Michigan. A través de amigos en común, conoció a Trey Many y comenzó a tocar en espectáculos con Velour 100. Grabaron un EP juntos y dieron algunas giras, en una de las cuales conoció a Damien Jurado y Pedro the Lion. Entonces se mudó Seattle para ir durante un tiempo al Cornish College antes de decidir continuar su carrera en solitario.
Thomas también actuó de monologista bajo el pseudónimo de Sheila Saputo.
