Richie Havens (Brooklyn, 21 de Enero de 1941 - Jersey, 22 de abril de 2013) es un cantante y guitarrista de folk.
Es conocido por su estilo intenso en guitarra rítmica, sus emocionantes covers de canciones pop y folk, y especialemte su impresionante apertura en Woodtock '69, siendo el tema mas notable Freedom.
Havens raramente escribe sus propias canciones, pero le aplica su estilo único a trabajos de otros artistas como por ejemplo Bob Dylan y The Beatles.
