Biografía:
En el año 1981 en Leeds, Chris Reed, guitarrista y compositor y Mark Sweeney cantante, reclutaron al bajista Steve Smith y al bateria Mick Brown, y formaron Red Lorry Yellow Lorry tomando el nombre de un juego de palabras-trabalenguas- ingles.
Sin embargo, apenas un año después, Sweeney decide abandonar el grupo, siendo sustituido en las voces principales por Chris Reed, al incorporarse un nuevo guitarrista, Martin Fagan.
En el 1982, manager del grupo Dave Hall proporcionó la demo a la discografica Red Rhino .
