Biografía:
Como niño nacido en Londres, hijo de padre inglés y madre colombiana, y de infancia vivida en Cuba donde tuvo su primer guitarra a la corta edad de 6, Phil MANZANERA creció con la música latina por dentro, que es la misma música que lo inspira en su trabajo solista, enfocándola hacia el jazz.
Pero como guitarrista que acompaña, es de los más conocidos en la Gran Bretaña. De hecho, Phil se hizo famoso dentro de un grupo, a principios de los '70, como guitarra principal: ROXY MUSIC.
