Biografía:
Los cuatro miembros empezaron a tocar juntos a principios de los noventa, aunque Penfold no exisitió como tal hasta el año 96 ó 97.
Tras diez años tocando juntos, 3 albumes grabados ( el Ep lanzado en 1997 Your eyes have all the answers, el Ep del 98 Amateurs and professionals, y el Lp Our first taste of escape de 2001) y cientos de conciertos Penfold decidieron disolverse en 2003.
Su concierto de despedida tuvo lugar en Old Bridge, New Jersey el 22 de marzo de 2003.
