Paula Cole (5 de abril de 1968, Rockport, Massachusetts) es una cantautora estadounidense.
Paula Cole creció en Rockport, una pequeña ciudad de Massachussets y el "Bethlehem" que cantó con tierno dolor en "Harbinger" (su primer disco, editado por Imago y re-editado por Warner Bros) desvelaba una infancia de pobreza, de timidez y de inseguridades. "This Fire" hace una revisión de "Bethlehem" con "Tiger", su primer corte, para anunciar que "... he dejado atrás Bethlehem y me siento libre. He dejado atrás la chica que debía ser".
