El 26 de Marzo de 2006 moría tras un concierto en Nueva York con Evan Dando, el "maldito francotirador", Nikki Sudden. El londinense era un artista la mar de prolífico, siempre con gran cantidad de proyectos en mente y con una inquietud que, sin embargo, no le llevó a gozar del beneplácito masivo del gran público.
