Judy Collins (Judith Marjorie Collins, nacida el 1 de mayo de 1939 en Seattle, estado de Washington, EUA) empezó a actuar en público a los 13 años, pero no como cantante, sino como pianista. Subió a su primer escenario para tocar el Concierto para dos pianos, de W. A. Mozart. No cito esa circunstancia por la actualidad de Mozart, sino porque en éste su último disco –que hace el número 39 de su carrera, si las cuentas no me fallan– Collins utiliza el piano
