Biografía:
John Paul Young (21 de junio de 1950) es un cantante australiano, cuyo éxito más conocido es "Love is in the Air" (El amor está en el aire).
Nacido en Glasgow (Escocia), Young se trasladó a Sydney de niño y a principios de la década de Años 1970 ya se había convertido en el cantante principal de la banda de rock de Sydney llamada Elm Tree. A principios de 1972 fue seleccionado para el papel de Ananías en la producción original australiana de Jesucristo Superstar y siguió en la producción hasta que cerró en 1974.
