Jawbox fue una banda de Post-Hardcore Punk de Washington D.C cuyos trabajos, viniendo de raíces como el Hardcore Punk de Minor Threat desarrollaron un estilo único de Punk comparable incluso al de Fugazi. La banda se encontraba conformada por J.Robbins como voz y guitarra, Bill Barbot como guitarra líder, Kim Coletta como bajista y Adam Wade (que fue reemplazado por Zach Barocas) como baterista.
Jawbox es fundada después de la desaparición de Goverment Issue, una banda de Hardcore en la que J.

This is a song by Jawbox off their 3rd album for your own special sweetheart. It's my favorite, and I'm probably playing it wrong. But if so it's not that wrong, and it's very passible. "Reel" by Jawbox figured out, and transcibed(as always)by Chris Sullivan.
