Biografía:
Formado en 1989, IONA tomó su nombre de una pequeña isla de la costa oeste de Escocia. Desde el principio, su objetivo fue escribir música espiritual, atmosférica, y que ayudara a la gente a expresar sus emociones, navegando por los complejos patrones que reflejan el intrincado trabajo de la música de los artistas celtas. También inspirados por las grandes figuras de la Época Dorada Celta como Columba, Aidan, Brendan y Patrick, la música de IONA no se sitúa en algún tiempo específico
