Biografía:
Hot Snakes fue una banda de post-hardcore formada en 1999, se desintegraron en el 2005 y estuvo liderada por Rick Froberg y John Reiss, ambos ya habían tocado juntos en las bandas Pitchfork y Drive Like Jehu.
El sonido es similar al de estas dos bandas, sin embargo, Hot Snakes cuenta con un sonido influenciado por bandas tales como Wipers y Suicide, este distinitvo sonido ha sido llamado hardcore garage punk.
Grabaron tres discos de lara duración: Automatic Midnight en el 2000, Suicide Invoice en el 2002 y Audit in Progress en el 2004.
