Apadrinados por el siempre clarividente Alan McGee, Glasvegas son ya un grupo que seguir en Gran Bretaña. Considerados la mejor banda escocesa en años, el cuarteto de Glasgow, formado por James Allan, Rab Allan, Paul Donoghue y Caroline McKay, recupera el espíritu shoegaze y lo aplica a la herencia rockabilly de los 50 y a la de las girls bands de los 60 (atención a su fantástica versión de Be My Baby de The Ronettes).
