Grand Funk Railroad es una banda estadounidense frecuentemente bajo la modalidad de Power trio.
Usualmente no muy bien aceptada por los críticos, la alineación original de Grand Funk fue altamente popular durante la década de los años 1970, habiendo vendido arriba de 25 millones de discos y actuando en todas las arenas del mundo entero. También fueron galardonados 4 veces por la RIAA en 1970, caso único en cualquier grupo norteamericano en aquel año.
