Alt-Country artists Jay Farrar (Son Volt) and Anders Parker (Varnaline) team up in a mostly acoustic duo on the album "Death Songs For The Living", released October 31, 2006. The album consists of 10 tracks (9 interpretations of old folk songs and one original titled "Buzz & Grind") separated by short instrumental segments.
