Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh y Cheryl Cole forman Girls Aloud, un grupo británico que salió del reality Popstars: The Rivals, en el cual se formarian dos bandas, una de chicas y una de chicos para competir por el puesto número uno en las listas británicas en navidad del 2002. Girls Aloud fueron las que llegaron al número uno con su primer single 'Sound Of The Underground' desbancando a sus competidores.
