Father John Misty es un proyecto Folk Rock en solitario del ex batería de Fleet Foxes, Joshua Tillman.
Joshua Tillman ya ha grabado anteriormente Albums en solitario, pero no seria si no hasta su octavo álbum de estudio en el que utilizaría el pseudónimo de Father John Misty, ya que Joshua había declarado que no quería seguir usando J.Tillman como pseudónimo.
Father John Misty publicaría su álbum "Fear Fun" el 30 de abril del 2012, bajo el sello Sub Pop
