Emily Jordan Osment nació en Los Ángeles el 10 de marzo de 1992. Ella es la hermana menor del actor de la famosa película El Sexto Sentido, Haley Joel Osment. Se dice que es prima del actor británico William Moseley y también se dice que Mitchel Musso es su novio en la vida real. Se hizo famosa mundialmente por su papel de Lilly Truscott en la exitosa serie de Disney Hannah Montana. Es bastante amiga de sus compañeros de Hannah Montana, como Miley Cyrus, Mitchel Musso (con quien grabó una canción), y Jason Earles.
