Biografía:
Aunque Grizzly Bear sean mucho más conocidos, Department Of Eagles, Daniel Rossen y Fred Nicolaus, ya habían editado su disco de debut, ‘The Cold Nose’, antes de que Daniel se uniera a Grizzly Bear. Rossen compartió habitación en el campus de la Universidad de Nueva York con Fred Nicolaus, para descubrir que además compartían la pasión por la música. Su primer disco obtuvo buenas críticas pero escasa repercusión y Rossen fue reclutado por Ed Droste para el cuarteto neoyorquino.
