David Crosby inicia en los años 60 su andadura musical fundando The Byrds, grupo esencial en la música pop americana. Después con Nash y Sitlls formará Crosby, Stills and Nash, grupo al que después se reincorpora Neil Young.
Colaborador de lujo por sus armonías vocales de múltiples artistas, continua actualmente grabando y es considerado artista de culto.
