Biografía:

Depeche Mode es un grupo británico de música Synthpop, New Wave, Darkwave, Tecnopop, formado en Basildon, condado de Essex en 1980.

Considerado el mejor grupo en lo referido a su género. Se dio a conocer en 1981 como grupo de synthpop y abanderados del movimiento New Romantic, pero pronto perderían esa etiqueta a medida que endurecieron su sonido con el uso de los samplers y oscurecieron su estética y sus letras en 1984. Su cima artística llegó en el periodo 90/94 con los albums Violator y Songs of Faith and Devotion
