Akira Yamaoka (nacido el 6 de febrero de 1968 en Niigata, Japón) ha compuesto música para docenas de videojuegos de Konami. Yamaoka estudió en la escuela de arte de Tokio y se unió a Konami el 21 de septiembre de 1993 tras ser un compositor musical freelance.
