Sven van Thom, actually Sven Rathke, born 1977 is a German guitarpop musician.
He grew up near Berlin and got famous with the single "Trauriges Mädchen".

Before his career as a soloartist he was a singer and guitar player at Sofaplanet, a german band.

His pseudonym "van Thom" plays with the word "phantom"
