Sorcha Richardson

Sorcha Richardson is a 21-year-old folk musician from Dublin who moved to New York City at the age of 18 to study writing. When she was eleven, Sorcha took up the drums and was a drummer in a number of bands throughout school. No one, least of all herself, considered her a singer. She had been writing songs, however, for a number of years. When she arrived in New York with a notebook full of songs and no one to sing them, she decided she'd sing them herself.
