Eivør

Eivør Pálsdóttir (pronounced [aivœ? p?ls?dœ?t??]; born 21 July 1983 in Syðrugøta, Faroe Islands) is a Faroese singer/songwriter with a distinct voice and a wide range of interests in many kinds of music from rock, jazz, folk, pop, to European classical music. Her roots are in the Faroese ballads.
Usually she is only addressed by her first name Eivør (cf. also the article of Icelandic names), which is normally spelt Eyðvør in Faroese.
