Bata Illic

Bata Illic (* 30. September 1939 in Belgrad as ???? ???? / Bata Ilic) is a Serbian Schlagerstar.
Bata Illic studied English and Italian and works as a teacher.
1963 received Illic with his Band a appearance contract for an American club in Bad Kissingen/Germany.
1967 Illic records his first single.
The first success title in the German Charts was 1968 the song "Mit verbundenen Augen und Schuhe, so schwer wie ein Stein"
In 1972 he had much success with the Hit-Single "Michaela".
