I haen't seen any attempts to figure this one out, so I figured I'd give it a stab.
is one of my favorites off one of my favorite Duran albums, Big Thing. I don't think I've
seen such odd chords/key changes before, but here goes!!
Intro: Hold the note Bb - it interchanges between Bb and G#. (low E string 6th fret and
E string 4 fret) The whole beginning part is basically single notes rather than chords
written that way. The chords are tough to pick out, (they are probably Bb and G# but
are too hard to hear!)
Bb
She lays on the wall
watching the strangers drift away
Bb G#
mid-day's ore--thick
with the sun of Arabia
Bb G#
she surrenders her voices
Bb

talkin, chanting, breathing
C#-F-Bb-C#
into her body...yesterday
F - C# - (C#-D# - E - F#) (walkup)
Bb
Awakened beside
G# Bb
the scent of burnt sugar--on the skin
G#
painting eyes--thick
Bb
with the color she brings in
Bb
oh, and sure and strong
when the lightning tumbles down
don't you frown
everything will be
in time for this evening
